A vicious firefight in Helmand Province, Afghanistan between U.S., Afghan and Taliban forces has left one U.S. Special Ops soldier and at least 3 others wounded.

A “medevac” helicopter sent into the city of Marjah to rescue wounded U.S. and Afghan troops took heavy mortar fire and one of the wounded appears to have been on the helicopter.
According to an Army spokesperson, the helicopter suffered mechanical damage and is still on the ground in Marjah.
No word yet on what the mission of these forces in Helmand were. We will update this article when more info becomes available.

One U.S. special operations soldier was killed and another was wounded while fighting the Taliban in Afghanistan Tuesday, a U.S. defense official confirms to Fox News.
When a U.S. military “medevac” helicopter landed in Helmand Province in the city of Marjah to get wounded U.S. and Afghan troops out of the area, the helicopter sustained damage when mortars landed near the helicopter.
The helicopter is currently on the ground due to damage sustained in the attack.
With three different major terror groups at work in Afghanistan, is an alliance between two or more of them on the horizon?
