Rudy Giuliani, mayor of New York City during the 9/11 attacks confirmed on CNN that there were upwards of 40 people reported to be celebrating the downing of the World Trade Center towers during that tragic day.

This comes after days of debate over the validity of Donald Trump’s comments that he witnessed celebrations by Muslims after 9/11.
Giuliani said these “pockets of celebrations” were seen in Queens and Brooklyn.
