He was supposed to still be in training, as he has the last 6 month. She was returning home after a deployment in Afghanistan. You could imagine her joy to see him there waiting when she came back… but that wasn’t all he had in store.

The young airman has already asked her father for permission to marry her while she was deployed in support of counterinsurgency operations. So this time he had something more for her than a well-received hug.
It is a priceless moment to see her joy being back home, the surprise of seeing her boyfriend, and finally, seeing him get on his knee to pop the question.
