Navy football’s Quarterback Keenan Reynolds is having a heck of a season, leading his team to an impressive 9-2 record. His play has been so good that he was nominated for the online fan vote sponsored by Nissan and ESPN… and winning big!

That is, until he was removed from voting for unknown reasons. With 10 candidates on the ballot, Reynolds was winning with a resounding 44% plurality.
So why the removal ESPN? Is it because he goes to a military academy?! Needless to say, the Naval athletic department and fans were far from pleased and expressed their frustration on social media.
#NavyFootball QB Keenan Reynolds was running away with the fan vote so @Nissan or @espn took him off the ballot: https://t.co/cwE4ZCLKGw
