Over the weekend, the world was captivated by a mysterious light flying over Southern California.

Most thought it was a UFO, causing frantic phone calls to authorities and social media to blast out a number of conspiracies.
Now the Navy is claiming it was them, test firing an unarmed Trident II (D5) missile from a sub in the Pacific. They claim they underestimated the brightness and effect it would have on the public.
