Andrew Alan Myers, a 35 year old decorated Army veteran who did 3 tours of duty in Iraq was riding his bike down a quiet street in Colorado Springs when he was murdered by a crazed gunman.
The gunman was carrying a rifle in one hand and a revolver in the other. As he approached, witnesses say Myers pleaded for him not to shoot saying “Please God, no.”

The gunman then walked down the street to a sobriety house where he shot and killed two more women. He later died in a shootout with police.
During his time in service Myers rose to the rank of sergeant and was received two Army Commendation medals as well as three Good Conduct medals. He leaves behind two young boys.
By all accounts Myers was a great father and had just gone through a divorce. The shooting is being reported at completely random.
The other victims were identified as Jennifer Michelle Vasquez, 42, and Christina Rose Baccus-Gallela, 34, both of whom were at the sobriety house at the time.
As for this killer, his name was, 33, a warped drunk according to his mother. In the days leading up to the killing he posted blogs and YouTube videos ranting about being brainwashed by a preacher and having a lousy father.
Out of respect for those lost, we will not post a picture of this monster. But here are those taken too soon:
RIP Sgt. Meyers
RIP Christy Galella
RIP Jennifer Vasquez

From the Daily Mail:
A cyclist who begged for his life as a gunman killed him during a rampage on the streets of Colorado Springs was an Army veteran who survived three deployments in Iraq, his former wife revealed on Tuesday.
Tina Myers said her ex-husband, Andrew Alan Myers, 35, was a decorated military veteran and a caring father to their two young sons.
He was the first of three victims shot by Noah Harpham, 33, in broad daylight on Saturday. After killing Myers, Harpham calmly walked less than a mile to a sober living home where he killed two women on the porch.
