[UPDATE 9:40PM ET] – According to French authorities, gunmen are still at large which is why President Hollande has shut down the borders and a manhunt is underway.
Symbols around the world are starting to appear in solidarity with France. The Freedom Tower in New York City now has French flag colors on its spire. And it’s becoming clear that these terrorists were not acting alone. France’s problems are just beginning.
[UPDATE 9:32PM ET] – The raid to take back the Bataclan Arts Theatre is over. 4 terrorists were killed and 3 of the terrorists were wearing explosive belts. About 100 hostages were rescued. The attackers were all around the page of 20. People keep calling these people “young” but they aren’t. Soldiers in our military are 18. They are adults. These terrorists are soldiers in a war. When is the world going to declare that we are at war?
Deputy Mayor Patrick Klugman said that the death toll is going to absolutely rise. “We are facing an unknown and historic situation in Paris,” he said.
Five attackers have been “neutralized” according to the Paris prosecutor’s office, French media reported. They are not elaborating at this time as to what “neutralized” means.
[UPDATE 7:38PM ET] – According to French Police the death toll has grown to over 118 people are now confirmed dead. ISIS was applauding the attacks on Twitter however no organization has claimed responsibility yet.
[UPDATE 6:55PM ET] – According to French Police, the attack on the theatre is now over. They have killed two gunmen, unknown at this time how many victims were killed.
[UPDATE 6:47PM ET] – According to Shepard Smith on Fox News, one man has been arrested and said “I’m from ISIS”
[UPDATE 6:45PM ET] – Hostages REMAIN inside the theatre, the police raid on the theatre is beginning at this moment. They’re disallowing video or photography for security reasons at this point. Witnesses on scene are reporting they are currently trying to regain control while terrorists inside are murdering victims one by one.

[UPDATE] A huge, multi-location attack on Paris by terrorists is unfolding right now with people being murdered in a Paris theater and attacks on two other locations. There are at least 60 people dead, 100 hostages and French President Hollande has sealed all French borders and travel so no one gets in or out.
French forces are ready to storm the Bataclan Arts Theatre where 100 hostages are being held. Reports are saying that the hostages are being systematically murdered so the French have no choice but to act.
There are three locations that were attacked. They are below:
Gunmen in Paris opened fired in the Cambodge restaurant in Paris’ 11th district. Terrorists also took over the Bataclan Arts Theatre and someone who was inside the theatre said they were firing, killing people for 10 minutes and reloaded multiple times.
The terrorist were not wearing masks – suggesting that this is a suicide mission.
Additionally an explosion has been reported at a bar near the Stade de France where France was playing Germany in soccer and French President Francois Hollande was in attendance. The explosions appear to have been grenades.

President Hollande announced on TV and radio that a state of emergency would be declared. “France must be strong in the face of terrorism,” he said. “Terrorist attacks are taking place in Paris. A police source said gun attacks had taken place at six different locations in Paris, as well as the grenade attack at the Stade de France (stadium). French media reported as many as 40 dead, with 60 “extremely urgent” casualties rushed to hospitals. At least one ongoing hostage situation, possibly several, police said.
Jean-Pierre, at a restaurant in the 10th arrondissement near the one that was attacked, told the Telegraph by phone that he and others were staying at the restaurant for the time being until the situation became clear.
“The gunmen were first turned away from the restaurant, and then came back and started shooting. There were quite a lot of Americans there. It was horrible. We went out and saw all the dead people lying there, so we came back here.”
Elizabeth, near the Bataclan, said she could see police and emergency services gathering outside. Gunmen fired several shots outside the venue around 10 pm. “It’s confusion here. We’re told there are hostages inside but we don’t know what’s happening.”
The mayor’s office told Parisians to stay at home and remain calm.
