Bryan Sperry is an 89 year old WWII vet that is also an alumni of the University of Kansas and member of the 1948 Orange Bowl team.

Sperry returned to KU for their alumni flag football game and got a big surprise! He said:
“I had planned on trying to get in maybe, catch a pass. He threw me a few balls to see if I could catch a ball, and I could. I hadn’t figured on running, in fact I hadn’t run in years. I just wanted to get in for a couple of plays and maybe catch a ball.”
Rock chalk Jayhawk!
