Yesterday 300 soldiers returned to Fort Carson, Colorado after 8 months in Southwest Asia.

While standing in formation to welcome their commander before they were officially dismissed, young Cara Oglesby decked out in an American flag dress decided she couldn’t wait any longer.
“Cara, she made eye contact with me in the crowd and decided she wanted to say hello a little early so she ran up and gave me a big hug and I just returned the hug back to her,” Lt. Daniel Oglesby told a local Fox affiliate.
