In the largest smuggling bust ever at Lebanon’s Beirut’s Rafik Hariri International Airport, 5 Saudi nationals including a member of the Royal family were caught attempting to smuggle two tons of drugs to the Saudi capital of Riyadh.

What authorities uncovered was 40 bags of Captagon pills, a drug containing fenetylline which is a synthetic stimulant.
As the U.S. continues to stick their neck out for the Saudis and the Royal family which has a dubious record to say the least, it’s good to know that they have family members personally involved in smuggling drugs.
Right when you think you’ve seen peak irresponsibility from the Saudis, something like this happens!

A member of the Saudi royal family and four others were detained after authorities discovered two tons of drugs on a private jet in Beirut on Monday, according to Lebanon’s state-run news agency and a government official.
The National News Agency said smugglers were attempting to transport the “huge quantity” of Captagon pills — 40 bags worth — to the Saudi capital of Riyadh.
