As Officer Cameron Beckham and reserve deputy Michael Magovern were headed to an overnight security shift at a construction site on the side of a busy road, they stopped on at Whataburger to grab some food.
When they got to the counter they got a response they didn’t expect.

According to Magovern, an employee said: “We don’t serve police. He said it with a straight face, no smile and just stared at us. Even if he was joking I’m not going to eat here because I don’t trust that.”
He acknowledged that this was not a corporate issue, rather a punk employee. Whataburger has already condemned this episode and stands unequivocally with the officers.
