Brig. Gen. Mohammad Reza Naqdi, the commander of Iran’s Basij militia, has a history of verbal assaults on Israel, Saudi Arabia and the U.S. but in light of the nuclear deal that America is about to sign a new interview is extremely troubling.
When asked about wiping Israel off the map, Naqdi said it was “nonnegotiable”. He went on to threaten the U.S. and the Saudi’s saying:
“Imposing war on Yemen will, God willingly, have no result other than Saddam’s fate for the aggressors and the US that is the direct sponsor of this crime will have to leave the region forever after losing its puppet, the Al Saud regime,”
These are the people we are entering into a high stakes nuclear deal with?! Let us know if you support of oppose the Iranian deal in the comments below!
From the Times of Israel:
Te commander of the Basij militia of Iran’s Revolutionary Guards said that “erasing Israel off the map” is “nonnegotiable,” according to an Israel Radio report Tuesday.
Militia chief Mohammad Reza Naqdi also threatened Saudi Arabia, saying that the offensive it is leading in Yemen “will have a fate like the fate of Saddam Hussein.”
Naqdi’s comments were made public as Iran and six world powers prepared Tuesday to issue a general statement agreeing to continue nuclear negotiations in a new phase aimed at reaching a comprehensive accord by the end of June.
