The Syrian town of Tal Abyad is now free from the grips of ISIS, however citizens returning home aren’t out of the woods yet.
On the way out, ISIS booby trapped numerous parts of the town including many that attract children and families. Crude explosives hidden among buildings or in old soda cups in parks.

As the report below shows, authorities are trying to warn people of what to look for but as you will see, it’s far from easy. The elder citizens of the city are fearful and angry at what ISIS has done to them and their families.
