At 11:30pm local time, massive explosions rocked the northern Chinese city of Tianjin. Thus far 300-400 deaths are confirmed, including 4 firefighters.

The cause of the blasts are thought to have been triggered by a mishap on a major shipment of TNT which detonated at warehouse that manages “hazardous goods,” according to Chinese media.
No word yet if foul play was involved but what resulted was an explosion that sent shockwaves for miles around. Check out these tweets for some shots of the blast.
