Multiple social media users called for President Joe Biden to use the military to “take action against Trump” or have Trump assassinated following the Supreme Court’s ruling regarding presidential immunity on Monday.

Monday’s decision by the Supreme Court determined that former presidents have immunity for official acts. The decision was handed down by the Supreme Court after Trump claimed immunity from criminal charges stemming from the aftermath of the 2020 presidential election and the storming of the U.S. Capitol on January 6, 2021.

The BowTiedRanger X account shared pictures of multiple social media posts on social media alongside the caption, “Masks are off.”

Left-wing influencer Dash Dobrofsky indicated that the Supreme Court’s decision gave Biden immunity to do whatever “official acts” he needed to do to prevent Trump from being elected in November.

Dobrofsky tweeted, “I strongly encourage Joe Biden to take advantage of his absolute immunity — which he has been lawfully granted by Trump’s Supreme Court Justices — to do whatever ‘official acts’ he needs to do in order to prevent Donald Trump from becoming President.”

Questioning the Supreme Court’s ruling on official acts of U.S. presidents, journalist Aaron Rupar wrote, “So if Joe Biden declared today that November’s election is canceled and ordered the military to keep him in power, would that be an ‘official act’?”

Democratic lawyer Bradley P. Moss also tweeted a statement arguing that Biden could use the military against Trump. He wrote, “The Supreme Court just gave Biden unequivocal immunity to order the military to take action against Trump. Today. Right now.”

The Republicans against Trump X account suggested that “total immunity” would allow Biden to “order the Seal Team Six to assassinate Donald Trump.”

In response to the calls for Biden to use the military to prevent Trump from winning the 2024 election and to even assassinate the former president, conservative commentator Jack Posobiec tweeted, “The ‘our democracy’ crowd is now calling for Biden to order the assassination of President Trump.”
