Enchanting, a Texas rapper and former protégé of Gucci Mane, has died at the age of 26 after previous reports she had been put on life support.

“So sad to have to say R.I.P to such a great young lady a true star we gone all miss you Chant,” Gucci Mane captioned a photo of his friend on Instagram on Tuesday.

No official cause of death was released, but fellow rapper Lil CJ Kasino said her family had taken Enchanting off life support after she fell unconscious the day before.

Gossip outlet The Shade Room reported Enchanting had been suffering severe withdrawals in recent days and eventually fell into critical condition following an alleged overdose.

“She came to my house the last four days to get clean,” a representative from her management team reportedly told the outlet. “She tried her best and I did everything I could to help her, she tried.”

In the wake of reports that Enchanting had been admitted to intensive care, her sister Kayy’Jayy allegedly tried to combat premature rumors that she had died Monday night, according to iHeartRadio.

However, her sister seemingly confirmed the news Tuesday afternoon, with a photo of the pair on social media and a message that simply read, “I love you girl.”

The 26-year-old rapper, whose real name was Channing Nicole Larry, had been signed to Gucci Mane’s 1017 record label and collaborated with his top acts before leaving in 2022.

Most recently, she had three songs featured on the soundtrack for HBO’s “Rap Sh!t Season 2.” She also appeared on Big Scarr’s posthumous 2023 album “The Secret Weapon,” which was released just months after he reportedly died from a prescription drug overdose.
