August 29, 2017

Drone Aviation Corp. is a company that focuses on unmanned systems design, manufacturing and flight operations.

Drone Aviation Corp. products range from aerostats to tethered UAS systems. Their products aim to simplify operations, have a long flight time and be logistically light in order to accomplish an aerial mission.

They “have commercial applications ranging from energy infrastructure surveys and security to military missions including communications relay, SIGINT, force protection, and convoy escort,” they said.

“Civil agency uses include border patrol, emergency response, search and rescue and law enforcement response to crowd management, hostage situations, and large event security and protection,” Drone Aviation Corp. added.

The company was formed in April 2014 through the acquisition of Lighter Than Air Systems Corp, which was founded in 2009. Taming Altitude is Drone Aviation’s approach to unmanned systems design.

Drone Aviation Corp. was recently featured at the ADS Warrior East Expo in Virginia Beach.
