For years there has been a popular narrative in the Middle East that the U.S. and its top level government was somehow secretly supplying ISIS. Given how uninterested President Obama and Secretary of States Hillary Clinton and John Kerry have been in stopping U.S. weapons ending up in terrorists hands – a lot of questions are starting to arise.
Many considered this an “unintended consequence” of our military operations in the middle east. In 2015, evidence hit social media several times that ISIS was indeed using U.S. weapons and supplies.
And ISIS is even publicly thanking President Obama!

Back in May, ISIS related twitter accounts showed U.S. “Ghanima” or “Spoils of war,” which included a multi-million dollar minesweeper that the terror group used to taunt President Obama with on Twitter.
Days later, in what appears to be Ramadi, Iraq, another ISIS-related account posted pictures posing next to stacks and stacks of U.S. ammo crates saying “Thanks President Obama and his allies!”
But this narrative and exposing of U.S. weapons in the hands of our enemy didn’t stop in the spring. Just last month Hayder al-Khoei, a contributor for the British paper The Guardian posted to Twitter what appeared to be an Iraqi soldier that came across U.S. gear inside an ISIS held oil field. He said:
“Look, film this too. These are American parachutes…We are inside the Baiji oil field. Is there anyone that doesn’t see them? You all see them!”

If you think this is a 2015 issue, you’d be wrong. Last year many in Iraq and Syria that were fighting against ISIS began to believe the U.S. was propping them up when videos of botched air drops like this surfaced:
