The separation of our military men and women from their families is tough on everyone. However, it can be the most difficult on children, who don’t fully comprehend where mommy or daddy is and why they are away.
This summer the Paper and Packaging Board has launched a series of TV ads aimed at showing the intimacy that letters on hard paper have as opposed to digital mediums.
Their most popular ad is the one below entitled “Letters to Dad”, featuring a young boy attempting to send letters to his dad fighting overseas by turning them into paper airplanes.
We won’t tell you what happens next, but trust us, it’s the most heartwarming thing you’ve seen all summer!
