ALCOAST 094/19 – MAR 2019 FY20 WORKFORCE PLANNING TEAMS KICK-OFF ANNOUNCEMENT
This ALCOAST announces the kickoff of the FY20 Workforce Planning Teams (WPT) season. Between April and May 2019, the chartered WPT, consisting of the Officer Workforce Planning Team (OWPT), Enlisted Workforce Planning Team (EWPT), Civilian Workforce Planning Team (CWPT) and the Reserve Workforce Planning Team (RWPT), will meet to identify and manage intervention strategies for recruiting, retention, and specialty management.

ALCOAST 093/19 – MAR 2019 SEXUAL ASSAULT AWARENESS AND PREVENTION MONTH (SAAPM)
The Coast Guard (CG) has aligned with the Department of Defense’s (DoD) theme of “Protecting Our People, Protects Our Mission” for Sexual Assault Awareness and Prevention Month (SAAPM) in April 2019. The SAAPM theme offers numerous opportunities to deliver messages that relate at both the individual and unit level, while emphasizing the integration of primary prevention into events and activities.
