All Hands selects several messages to publish in a weekly post to help raise awareness about specific messages and useful information.

This ACN updates the definitions for linguist-designated positions and interpreter allocations in REF (A) and reinstates previous pay levels to the Coast Guard’s Foreign Language Proficiency Pay (FLPP) effective January 1, 2018. Any personnel who received the reduced FLPP payment after January 1, 2018, will have their pay retroactively adjusted based on the scale listed in Paragraph 6 of this CAN. No action is required by the member or the member’s Servicing Personnel Office.
The purpose of this ALCOAST is to articulate changes to the Coast Guard Anti-Harassment and Hate Incidents Procedure, outlined in REF (A).
