A concrete wall is being erected around President Joe Biden’s White House without explanation this week, as shown in photos and videos circulating social media.

In one video posted on YouTube on Monday, a construction team appears to be building the barrier between the White House and the iron fence that already surrounds the property.

“What’s going on at the White House?” tweeted Sebastian Gorka, a military analyst and former Trump administration official.

“Why is Joe Biden building a concrete wall at the White House?” tweeted Congressional candidate Irene Armendariz-Jackson.

“A concrete wall is being built around the White House during the administration of the most popular president of all time,” Being Libertarian quipped.

One Twitter user questioned the media’s silence surrounding the mysterious walls.

“Is the media even addressing the concrete wall Biden is having erected around the White House?” the user asked.

“Is the government ever going to tell us why they are building a massive concrete wall around the White House?” Young Americans for Liberty tweeted along with additional photos of the construction.

The wall being erected around the White House comes as President Biden’s approval rating slides to its lowest point yet at just 33 percent, according to a new Quinnipiac University poll released this week.

Notably, Biden has long been a staunch opponent of the US-Mexico border wall. In one of his first moves as president, Biden signed an Executive Order that terminated former-President Trump’s national emergency declaration of the United States’ southern border and canceled border wall funding, calling the project “not a serious policy solution.”

“It shall be the policy of my Administration that no more American taxpayer dollars be diverted to construct a border wall,” Biden’s order stated.

Late last year, workers began construction on a security fence around the border of President Biden’s beach house in Delaware that will cost American taxpayers nearly half a million dollars, a federal database on government spending shows.

According to USASPENDING.gov, the Department of Homeland Security awarded on September 21 a $456,548 contract to Rehoboth’s Turnstone Builders for “purchase and installation of security fencing at 32 Farview, Rehoboth Delaware.” Biden bought the home in June 2017 for $2.7 million, tax records show.

Fencing that was erected around the U.S. Capitol last year was taken down after more than six months of high-level security following the January 6 storming of the Capitol.

The U.S. Capitol Police said the fencing was removed “based on the current threat environment and recent enhancements to the USCP’s response capabilities” in a statement.
