Joint military drill between Saudi, US forces kicks off

A military exercise between the Saudi Royal Land Forces and the US Army kicked off Sunday in the Kingdom.

The Commander 2019 drill was launched at the main exercise center at the King Khaled Military City in the Northern Region.

Gen. Saleh bin Ahmed Al-Zahrani welcomed the participants, praising the participation of US friendly forces in this exercise, and thanked the participants for their efforts in preparing for the drill.

The aim of the exercise is to develop and strengthen Saudi-American joint relations within the framework of plans and programs of the Saudi Royal Land Forces.
