Notre Dame Cathedral in Paris is on fire, and now, part of the structure’s spire has collapsed in flames.
UPDATE, 2:07 p.m. EST: Part of the cathedral’s spire, or steeply pointed tower, has fallen. Watch video posted to Twitter here:

Firefighters are responding to the scene, and the cathedral has reportedly been evacuated. The cause of the fire is unknown as of this time.
Video has also been uploaded to social media showing the cathedral engulfed in gigantic flames and smoke. This video, posted by Solveig Godeluck, shows the cathedral engulfed in flames:
