Op-Ed: CZ USA unveils new firearms at SHOT Show 2019

Every year, CZ USA produces new firearms that make people’s heads spin. At SHOT Show, gun enthusiasts flood to the CZ booth to get a look and feel of what CZ USA is offering. This year is no different. CZ came out with some new and improved models that are the envy of the competition.

Let’s start with their line of handguns. CZ introduced the polymer frame, striker-fired P-10C two years ago. I clearly remember the excitement and anticipation about the compact size P-10C. That pistol has all the features the handgun world was looking for while keeping with CZ quality. Once the CZ P-10C hit the market, the next question was: when will they produce a full-size and sub-compact variant of the P-10C?

This year, CZ USA is showcasing the P-10F (full-size) and the P-10S (sub-compact) models to their line of pistols. The full-size CZ P-10F will sell well in the market, but I feel the smaller and lighter CZ P-10S will fly off the shelves. With a 3.5″ barrel while carrying 12 rounds in the magazine, the P-10S will soon become a favored concealed carry pistol choice. The CZ P-10S featured in the video below is “optics ready.” The standard P-10S (without a red-dot optic) has an MSRP of $499 and will most likely sell in the mid $400 range.

CZ USA is also offering a bullpup kit for their 9mm Scorpion sub guns. This bullpup is sleek, functional, and has a trigger better than any bullpup I’ve experienced. Add to that, a couple new shotguns (a semi-auto and double barrel) along with a new and improved CZ 457 Varmint .22 long rifle carbine, it’s clear that CZ has outdone themselves for 2019.

Check out the video below to gain more information, and let us know your thoughts and opinions of CZ USA’s new models for 2019.
