On Sept. 12, music duo Florida Georgia Line will be showing their military support and thanks at the “World’s Biggest USO Tour.”
On August 28, the group appeared in a USO video saying, “we’re partnering with the USO to put on a show for the World’s Biggest USO Tour, to give back to the troops who give us so much. Please join us and thousands of other patriotic Americans in thanking the troops for all they do by signing this card by midnight tonight. Add your name now!”
Tyler Hubbard and Brian Kelley, who make up Florida Georgia Line, will be heading to Washington D.C. right after they finish their summer tour dates.
In addition to the live performance by Florida Georgia Line, actor-comedian Adam Devine and Celebrity Chef Robert Irvine will also be appearing.
This USO event is reportedly the largest of its kind and will bring live entertainment tour to service members, their families and Americans across the globe.

USO has been connecting military members from all branches since World War II with their family, home and country. The USO’s mission is to create and sustain these strong connections, regardless of where troops serve.
The USO speaks on behalf of America by expressing gratitude and commitment to service members and their families through programs focused on connection, strength, wellness, and resiliency.
In the duo’s announcement video, Kelley explained the event’s importance to him.
“For those of you who don’t know, my grandfather was a POW and two-time Purple Heart recipient,” he said. “My uncle and cousin have both served overseas. The opportunity for us to perform for our troops is deeply personal for me, and I’m grateful to work with the USO in what’s going to be an amazing event.”
The live show in Washington D.C. begins at 7 p.m., and a live stream will be available for viewers around the world beginning at 8 p.m.
Watch parties will be held at USO centers around the world. A list of USO watch parties can be found here.
