Four people have been shot after there were reports Wednesday morning of an active shooter situation at an office building in Wisconsin.

The Associated Press reported that four people were non-fatally shot during the shooting at a software company. The scene is still reportedly active.

A local NBC affiliate reported that police responded to a 10:25 a.m. call into Dane County Dispatch, to the 1800 block of Deming Way in Middleton, Wisconsin.

The incident took place at a building for WTS Paradigm and Esker Software, according to the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel, which also reported that there are allegedly “two officers involved in this shooting,” citing Middleton radio traffic.

People were being told to “shelter in place” if they’re in the area, the Journal Sentinel reported.

Police responded to the scene, including Madison Police and A.T.F. agents, ABC reported.

There are no other details available at this time.

Middleton is about six miles northwest of Madison, Wisconsin.

A nearby college put out a statement, NBC tweeted, saying, “There is no active threat on campus at this time.”
