UPDATE, 4:45 a.m. EST: Police arrested James Eric Davis Jr. a little after midnight on Saturday.

UPDATE, 1:15 p.m. EST: The City of Mt. Pleasant has released a photo of the wanted shooting suspect, 19-year-old James Eric Davis, Jr.

Davis Jr. is a black male who was last seen wearing mustard yellow jeans and a blue hoodie, the city said. He is believed to be armed and dangerous.

UPDATE, 11:02 a.m. EST: Police said the two people who were shot at Central Michigan University Friday morning are now dead; they were not students.

The shooting allegedly stemmed from a domestic situation, police say.

The suspect has also been identified as James Eric Davis, Jr., a 19-year-old black male who is wearing mustard yellow jeans and a blue hoodie, police say.

A suspect is allegedly still at large after there were reports of shots fired on campus at Central Michigan University.

A local ABC news affiliate reported that Michigan State Police said two people were shot, and their conditions are unknown at this time.

University officials told students to take shelter, and that the school’s public safety and police are responding to the reports of shots fired.

No other details were available at this time.
