President Donald Trump’s daughter-in-law, Vanessa Trump, was taken to the hospital after opening an envelope that contained a white powder substance, law enforcement officials said Monday.

Officials said it was not immediately clear what the substance was, but it was later reported that the substance was deemed to be non-hazardous.

It was reported that the envelope was addressed to her husband, Donald Trump Jr.

The New York Posted reported that Vanessa, who is married to Donald Trump Jr., opened the letter around 10 a.m. Eastern Time at their East 54th Street residence, and she was then taken to the hospital as a precaution.
