Three people, including a police officer, were injured in a shooting outside the National Security Agency (NSA) headquarters in Fort Meade, Maryland, early Wednesday morning.
A black SUV reportedly ran into a barrier on the NSA campus, WBAL reported.
The injuries are not life-threatening, and the suspect is in custody. The NSA said the situation is “under control and there is no ongoing security or safety threat.”
The White House confirmed the shooting at NSA headquarters and said President Donald Trump was briefed on the incident.
