December 19, 2016

On Monday December 12, Hollywood star Chris Pratt visited Marine Corps Air Station Miramar in San Diego, California for a special free screening of his new movie, “Passengers.”

After arriving at Miramar, Pratt did a few interviews outside the Bob Hope Theater, then met with the hundreds of people that were there to watch his film and to see him.

He signed hats, posters and other items as he walked by the crowd. He also posed for pictures with some of the service members that were there to see the film.

Pratt said that he is happy to meet anyone that serves in the military.

“Anyone who puts on the uniform and defends our freedom, I’m down to meet them,” Pratt told NBC 7.

After being asked what the best part of being a part of “Passengers,” Pratt told NBC 7, “Getting an opportunity to come to Miramar and show it to people. Just the people I get to meet while promoting it.”

The movie, “Passengers” is about two strangers, Jim (Chris Pratt) and Aurora (Jennifer Lawrence), who wake up 90 years too early during a 120 year-long journey to a colony planet.
