The Israeli Navy targeted the INS Atzmaut, a Sa’ar Class 4 missile ship, which was removed from operational activities in March 2014, with an advanced anti-ship missile on July 5, 2016.
The missile is designed to hone in on its target while in flight. In this case, the two missiles hit their target at roughly 75 miles away and sink the ship.
