“Extremely Dangerous” Roadside IED Found In Texas

May 04, 2016

With rumors about ISIS starting to test the Texas border from Mexico it’s not good that a roadside IED packed with shotgun shells and flammable liquid was found under a bridge Tuesday night in Rosebud, Texas.

Sheriff Parnell McNamara said the IED was designed to blow shrapnel and would have been “extremely dangerous” had it gone off.

The AFT (Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives) made sure to blast water on the bomb.

“Someone had made this to create lots of damage and harm,” McNamara said.

Thankfully there were no injuries and no suspects have been identified.

Authorities are still investigating and more information will be forthcoming but surprisingly there has been little coverage of this incident.

There is also no word on who found the IED.
