Last Friday in Louisville, Kentucky a woman was headed to her car when a man jumped in the elevator with her. This is when we first see security footage of this crook stalking his would-be prey on security footage.
As she walked to her car, he followed. She got in her car and just as she was about to close her door when the man pushed in behind her, covered her mouth and pulled a knife.
This is when the tables began to turn.
A violent struggle broke out and the woman being attacked reached for her concealed weapon, a small handgun, and shot him in the neck. Here’s a picture of the weapon she used:
The last footage of the criminal caught on tape was him leaving the parking garage bleeding from the neck. A passerby saw the bleeding man and immediately called 911.
He was later identified as John Ganobick and will be charged him with attempted murder, kidnapping and criminal mischief. As for the female would-be victim, she sustained multiple injuries but she will be ok.
