Israeli-Arabs In The IDF Are Kicking Hezbollah’s Ass On The Lebanese Border

March 10, 2016

Each year, hundreds of rockets attacks, military incursions, kidnappings, and other horrors are carried out by Hezbollah’s soldiers through Israel’s northern border with Lebanon. In order to fight fire with fire, the Bedouin Tracking Unit responds to the call.

The Bedouin Tracking Unit is a unit of the Israel Defense Forces comprised exclusively of Israeli Arabs, the Israeli government’s designation for non-Jewish Israeli citizens of Arab descendant, that live in the northern part of the country. The Bedouin name, a nomadic Arab of the desert or desert dwellers, serves the dual purpose of identifying these soldiers as being both Arabs and desert experts. They are an important part of Israel’s defense against such a constant threat.

Do you think the IDF should have a unit exclusively made of Arabs? Sound off and share your opinions and comments in the section below.
