August 05, 2015

UPDATE 2: Perry County Sheriffs department has arrested 61 year old Alfred Baria in possible connection with the two shooting incidents this week at the Camp Shelby Joint Forces Training Center in Mississippi.

His arrest was prompted by his Isuzu pickup truck backfiring near a patrol checkpoint. Authorities say they were given no doubt that he was behind the previous incidents but the investigation is still ongoing.

UPDATE: Yesterday morning at 8am, authorities reported a second incident of rounds being fired outside the Camp Shelby Joint Forces Training Center in Mississippi.

Similar to the first report these rounds were fired by a white male in a red pickup truck. However, unlike the previous incident in which shots appeared to be fired in the direction of soldiers, these were fired into the air.

The authorities are still on the lookout for the gunman.

Authorities are on the hunt for a suspect that shot at soldiers at the Camp Shelby Joint Forces Training Center in Mississippi.

The Perry County Sheriff’s department reported that the shots were fired at 12:10pm. The suspect was driving a small maroon truck.

The shooter fired on the soldiers from inside the truck and then fled. Thankfully no one was hurt but this situation is still being classified as an “active shooter” case.

It is important to note that this is a training ground for the controversial Jade Helm 15 exercises which some believe is domestic “hostile” takeover training for our troops. There is no word yet on if there is a link.

Later that day a truck was located matching the description however the two men in the truck were released after questioning.

If you have any information please contact the Perry County authorities at 601-964-8461.
