A Brentwood, New Hampshire domestic dispute claimed the life of a police officer and his suspected killer Monday. The home exploded, keeping the exact cause of death unknown.
Brentwood Officer Steve Arkell was first on the scene when neighbors reported an argument.
Witnesses reported rapid gun fire when Arkell entered the home. An elderly man, determined to be part of the domestic dispute, was removed from the scene.

The suspected gunman, 47-year-old Michael Nolan, died inside the home, police said. Nolan reportedly lived at the residence with his 86-year-old father, who was taken from the home in an ambulance.
