These are some of the deals and discounts for veterans this Veterans Day

This Veterans Day, many companies and organizations will be holding special events, deals and promotions for military veterans and their families. Many companies are also selling products and donating the proceeds to veteran charity organizations.

Veterans Day 2017 will be on Saturday, Nov. 11, 2017, and is designated as a Federal Holiday on Friday, Nov. 10, 2017.

Some of these deals and discounts require proof of military service or other requirements, so please check with the company beforehand.

AR15Discounts.com: Veterans and Active Duty Military can get a 15 percent discount storewide. All non-military customers can earn the same 15 percent discount by donating at least $5 to a Veteran’s charity of their choosing. This offer expires Nov. 14, 2017, at 11:59 p.m. PST.

B&Bs for Vets: Veterans, Active Duty, National Guard and Reserves can stay the night on Veterans Day at participating B&Bs for free around the country. Some locations offer one night and others may provide more.

Bed Bath & Beyond: All Active Duty, Department of Defense, Reserves, Guard, retirees, Veterans and Military spouses will receive 25 percent off their entire in-store purchase from Nov. 9 through Nov. 12.

BJ’s Restaurant and Brewhouse: Free entree under $12.95 on Friday and Saturday. Plus, get a free BJ’s beer, which was donated by a community member through their Buy A Hero A Beer campaign.

Brides Across America: Brides Across America holds its wedding gown giveaways twice a year in partnership with bridal salons across the country. The events take place in July and November to honor our troops around Independence Day and Veterans Day. Qualifying military brides can get a free wedding gown from a bridal shop in their area that is participating in the event.

California Pizza Kitchen: Military members can choose a from a free pizza, full-size salad or pasta from the Veterans Day menu. The deal is good for dine-in orders only.

Denny’s: All active, inactive and retired Military Personnel at all participating Denny’s restaurants nationwide will receive a free Build Your Own Grand Slam breakfast on Friday, Nov. 10, from 5 a.m. to noon.

Dollar General: Dollar General 11-percent Veterans Day Discount: Veterans, Active Military members and their families will get 11 percent off their in-store or online purchase at Dollar General on Veterans Day.

Dunkin’ Donuts: Free donut for Veterans and Active Duty Military on Nov. 11. Dunkin’ Donuts is also making a $10,000 donation to Homes For Our Troops, a privately funded nonprofit organization that builds and donates specially adapted custom homes nationwide for severely injured post-9/11 Veterans.

Grace for Vets: Each year on Veterans Day, Grace for Vets unites the car wash industry and provides free car washes to all Veterans and Service Personnel. Nearly 3,000 car washes have already registered to participate this year. You can find a car wash offering this program near you by visiting their website.

Great Clips: Visit a U.S. Great Clips salon on Nov. 11 and receive either a free haircut that day or a free haircut card to use at a later date. Non-military customers can purchase a service at a U.S. Great Clips salon on Veterans Day (Nov. 11) and get a free haircut card to give to a Veteran.

Harley Davidson Museum: On Nov. 10 through 12, the Harley-Davidson Museum will offer free entry for all active Military, Veterans and their families.

IHOP: All Active Duty and retired Veterans are invited to come in and enjoy free Red, White and Blue Pancakes on Friday, Nov. 10. In addition to the deal, $1 from the purchase of every Red, White and Blue Combo from Nov. 1-30 goes to support the Children of Fallen Patriots Foundation.

Little Caesars: Free Hot-N-Ready lunch combo from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m on Saturday, Nov. 11.

Meineke: Active and retired members of the Military can present their valid military ID at a participating Meineke locations on Nov. 11, 2017, for a free basic oil change. They are also partnering with Maaco to give away free car makeovers to veterans.

National Parks: More than 100 national parks will waive admission fees on Nov. 11, 2017, in honor of Veterans Day.

Rack Room Shoes: Military personnel and their dependents can show a valid military ID at Rack Room Shoes on Veterans Day, Saturday, Nov. 11, to receive 10 percent off their total purchase.

Red Lobster: Red Lobster is offering a free appetizer or dessert on Saturday, Nov. 11 to Veterans, Active Duty Military and Reservists.

Red Robin: All Veterans and Active Duty Military get a free dine-in Red’s Tavern Double Burger and Bottomless Steak Fries on Veterans Day.

Regal Cinema: Regal will donate $1 of each large popcorn sale on Nov. 11 to the Gary Sinise Foundation, a nonprofit organization serving military personnel and their families.

Ruby Tuesday: Former and Active Duty Service Members can enjoy a free appetizer up to $10 in value on Saturday, Nov. 11.

Sports Clips: Veterans and Active Duty U.S. service members with proof of service can stop in on Saturday, Nov. 11, to get a free haircut at any participating Sports Clips. Sports Clips is also donating $1 from every haircut service to the Help A Hero Scholarship Program. Since 2013, Sport Clips has supported the program, which provides scholarships for Service Members and Veterans for post-secondary schools and trade schools.

Texas Roadhouse: Texas Roadhouse will be offering free lunch from their special Veterans Menu to Veterans. They will also be donating 10 percent of proceeds from gift cards to Homes For Our Troops, an organization that builds and donates specially adapted custom homes nationwide for severely injured post-9/11 veterans.
