Robert O’Neill, the Navy SEAL who claims he was the one who shot and killed al-Qaeda leader Osama bin Laden during the raid on his Abbottabad compound in May, 2011, has fired back at social media star Dan Bilzerian after he responded to Medal of Honor recipient Dakota Meyer’s Facebook post calling Bilzerian a “coward.”

O’Neill said that he would like Bilzerian to get in contact with him so they can “talk Vegas and the sh*t he talks about USMC…”

When one Twitter user responded to O’Neill saying that Bilzerian “didn’t deserve” the things that Meyer said about him, O’Neill responded on Wednesday and said: “Semper Fi, brother. But talking sh*t about the Marines rubs me the wrong way… just looking to clarify.”

O’Neill took a shot again at Bilzerian on Thursday and posted a meme with Bilzerian’s head on top of “The Simpson’s” character Ralph Wiggum’s body with the words “I’m helping” in the image.

When another Twitter user asked O’Neill if Bilzerian got in contact with him, O’Neill said: “Nothing heard. He must be busy saving the world… one follower at a time!”

Earlier this week, Marine Corps combat veteran and Medal of Honor recipient Dakota Meyer called out Bilzerian for running away from those who needed help during the Las Vegas shooting late Sunday night, and also for filming himself running away and using that footage to garner followers. Bilzerian had said he took two women to the hospital, got his gun and went back to the scene to help.

The Back and Forth

“Dan Bilzerian is a coward, and he thinks it’s video-worthy,” Meyer said in a Facebook video he posted Monday. “Are you kidding me?”

“To video himself passing someone [who got shot in the head] – either he’s a liar and looking for followers or a coward,” Meyer said.

On Tuesday, Bilzerian addressed this, “because this news is a such a bunch of fu—g bullshit.”

Bilzerian said news outlets “print whatever is going to get the most clicks,” and told his followers “you can’t get the real deal anymore.”

“So, I wake up this morning and the news is talking sh*t, saying, I dunno, some Marine is saying I was a pu–y for running away and that I should have stood my ground when a guy is shooting at me with a machine gun,” Bilzerian said.

“So, I mean, if we follow that retard’s logic, we’d probably have [600] dead if everybody stood their ground instead of running for cover,” he added.

“They publish some fu—g guy’s account, sitting behind a laptop fu—g typing trying to get his five minutes of fame,” Bilzerian continued. “He’s there blogging about me while I’m fu—g delivering 8,000 pounds of food and water to Vegas and going to hospitals. What the fu-k is he doing?”

“To be clear, the first fu—g thing I did after we dropped those two girls off at the hospital is, I went and got my gun and I went straight fu—g back there and was there for three fu—g hours,” he added.

“We look at peoples’ followers, we look at how cool their life looks on Instagram and we start looking up to them,” Meyer said in the beginning of his video, explaining that he, too, used to look up to Bilzerian and got “caught up” in the hype.

Later in the video, Meyer added: “Listen, I wouldn’t be upset with him if he wasn’t always trying to talk around and play operator,” saying that it was “part of the problem.”

“He would rather [take a] video than do what’s right,” Meyer added.

Earlier this week, a video clip was posted to Instagram that shows social media star and Navy veteran Dan Bilzerian running up to a concrete barricade and asking a cop for his firearm during the Las Vegas shooting.

The cop shuts him down saying he should “know better” than to ask for a weapon and to “get the fu-k away from” him.
