Sen. Ted Cruz and Concerned Veterans for America discuss VA reform

July 07, 2017

Sen. Ted Cruz, R-Texas, and Concerned Veterans for America (CVA) recently teamed up to host a Town Hall series about how to reform the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA).

“These events are an opportunity for Texas veterans to hear about the problems facing the VA and our ideas to fix them,” CVA Policy Director Dan Caldwell recently told American Military News. “While the VA Accountability and Whistleblower Protection Act was a big step forward, there’s a lot of work left to do to get veterans better access to the care they need. We’re grateful that Senator Cruz took the time to join us this week to discuss these important issues.”

The Town Hall sessions were hosted in Dallas, Austin and Houston.

CVA has held Defend & Reform Town Halls across the country for many years to address issues facing American veterans and military family members.
