The storied 101st Airborne has a history that stretches back through many of America’s wars, where you would easily be able to find a soldier from that honored division on some of the deadliest battlefields this nation has fought for. In this new clip by the U.S. Army, they highlight, in pictures, some of the many battles the airborne has fought and sticks to a line from the famous screaming eagle’s song: “We have a rendezvous with destiny.”
Short and catchy, the video quickly highlights the many famous battles fought by soldiers of the 101st and shows soldiers preparing for the battles to come. The Army has spent considerable time and money in recent years revamping and overhauling their video campaigns, and the style of video and music background is proof the Army is not afraid to move into the future to bring information about the military to young men and women.
