The show, which pits 17 individuals up against one another in a series of challenges, takes place in Hampton Island, GA at a place known as Camp Grit.

A group of mentors, known as “The Cadre,” are tasked with training and getting the competitors prepared to face each challenge.

Making up “The Cadre” are John Burk, an Infantry Drill Sergeant with the U.S. Army, Chloe Mondesir, an Ammunition Technician with the U.S. Marines, Riki Long, a U.S. Marine, and Grady Powell, a Green Berets Commander.

Each week, competitors will face off in team challenges and attempt to keep themselves safe from elimination and win the grand prize of $250,000.
