(VIDEO) Anti-Trump Activists Plan Complete Shut Down Of D.C. During Inauguration

January 18, 2017

Project Veritas, the investigative reporting group led by James O’Keefe that goes undercover to expose corruption, released a video showing an anti-Trump activist group plotting to chain D.C. Metro trains and block roads in the Washington area in an effort to “shut down” Donald Trump’s inauguration. The video is Part II in a multi-video investigation showing the left-wing activist group, “DisruptJ20,” formulating plots to “disrupt the ceremonies” making “calls to action” for “a bold mobilization against the inauguration of Donald Trump on January 20, 2017.”

In Part II, organizers are heard planning to chain D.C. Metro trains heading to the inauguration and the video “exposes the collusion between the various groups under the DisruptJ20 umbrella.” Project Veritas also states that the video proves “DJ20 is not simply a movement of fringe groups but instead a nefarious organization.”

“So simultaneous to the checkpoint blockades in the morning, we are also doing a series of clusterf*** blockades, where we are going to try to blockade all the major ingress points into the city,” an organizer named Legba Carrefour said to a group meeting caught on the video.

“They can include shutting down major bridges and highway access points, as well as shutting down metro rail. So to do that we are going to try to break into several teams kind of like checkpoints,” Carrefour continued.

Last week, Carrefour spoke to The Washington Examiner about his plans to shut down the city. In the video, he goes into further detail about the criminal ways he plans to do it.

“So, we figured out this, the trains pull up… one person is going to lock one end of a chain to an edge, and on the other end of the chain the end of the car, so on and so forth. Done,” he says. “It takes 15 seconds and everyone can leave and literally it can’t go anywhere at that point, it’s anchored. Ad you can use a really thin chain, you don’t need a heavy chain… that would require like a bolt cutter to undo, basically shut down that line… Metro Center, Gallery Place, and L’Enfant Plaza, they are all close enough to walk to and that’s every single line in the city.”

Another organizer, Eric Sheptock, speaks about shutting down the streets by setting up tables to college goods for the poor and homeless.

“So, we want to encourage you all to give to the poor and the homeless. Go right down to 2nd and D, help us to block the vehicle traffic and the pedestrian traffic flowing to the inauguration. And set up tables, food, give out whatever,  right there, there 2nd and D a block from either direction and help to block traffic,” Sheptock says.

Dylan Petrohilos, the Industrial Workers of the World organizer, can be seen and heard on the video saying their goal is to shut down the city.

“Our goal is to continue to help shut down the city at like, mid-inauguration, a giant clusterf***, that day,” Petrohilos tells the group.
