The internet sensation has gone viral and many people have joined in on it by creating their own videos where they pose in a particular fashion, recreating a scene without moving. Someone then records the scene with the song “Black Beatles” played in the background.
Several NFL football teams, the U.S. Army, Hillary Clinton and many other people have created their own mannequin challenge.
In this video, Midshipmen, officers and cheerleaders all took part in the fun.
The Naval Academy’s video was filmed by Midshipman Third Class Jeffrey Kramer, a photographer and videographer for the yearbook, The Lucky Bag.
The scene was filmed after the third quarter of the football game at the Navy-Marine Corps Memorial Stadium.
