A Marine veteran has gone to long lengths in order to keep his Trump/Pence campaign sign up, including placing down a nail board in order to prevent people from running it over with their cars.
Chuck Corry has found his sign destroyed several times after people have run it over with their cars. He has now put up five Trump signs up in the course of the past several weeks.
After his sign being destroyed several times, he has taken several measures to protect it including placing a nail board right below the sign.
“They run over it again a couple of times, so that’s why I put the nail board down,” Corry told WTOC. “I’ve never run into this kind of problems.”
The sign is also protected and supported by fence posts, cables, rebar, anchors, plumbers tape and glue. He also applied skunk spray and WD-40 for those that wish to get near it and vandalize it.
The veteran has put $60 and 6 man hours so far into making sure his sign is as safe from destruction as possible.
Since adding the security features more than a week ago, the sign has stayed up and no one has messed with it.
