See U.S. Marines Provide Light Armored Vehicle Support For Live Fire Training Events

Exercise Agile Spirit 16 is an annual exercise improving cooperation between participating nations to enhance regional security. U.S. Marines alongside NATO allies and partners from the Baltics and Black Sea regions amass massive armored forces in the Republic of Georgia for security exercises. Forces from Georgia, Ukraine, Latvia, Romania and Bulgaria converge on the city of Akhaltsikhe to demonstrate their collective defense of Europe’s eastern flank.

As part of this critical exercise Georgian tanks and U.S. Marine armored vehicles, which provide a critical defensive capability, conduct several integrated live-fire training events. In this video, U.S. Marines can be seen in a live fire range using light armored vehicles (LAVs) and Humvees in conjunction with Georgian air support and tanks. After the recent provocations and attacks from the Kremlin surely everyone is taking these exercises a lot more seriously.

Do you think that events like those rehearsed in these multinational exercises will come to pass? Sound off and share your opinions and comments in the section below.
