14 ISIS Soldiers Killed In Their Own Headquarters By Mysterious Armed Men

August 11, 2016

In three separate attacks, a group of unidentified gunmen attacked the Islamic State (ISIS) headquarters in Mosul, killing 14 of the terrorists and injuring 20.  Local residents witnessed the three separate attacks with one eyewitness saying,

Unidentified armed men launched three organized attacks at dawn today and targeted three ISIS headquarters at Karamah, the industrial left side and al-Bakr neighborhood.  The armed men used light and medium weapons to attack the headquarters. 14 ISIS fighters were killed and 20 others were injured.

Despite the mystery surrounding the identity of these gunmen, it’s clear that ISIS is losing ground as coalition forces continue to move forward against the terrorist group and continue to make gains.  ISIS leadership in Kirkuk Province under al-Baghdadi has turned on him and now have sworn their allegiance to al-Qaeda leader Ayman al-Zawahiri.   An anonymous source said of the dissension in the ISIS ranks,

This is a serious blow to the ISIS.  The new coup would have a major role in the split of the organization [and] there is a real conflict between the outfit’s leaders in Nineveh and there are efforts to topple al-Baghdadi after the losses suffered by the ISIS in Iraq.”

What remains to be seen is whether or not Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi will show himself publicly and risk his life in order to flee one of these unidentified gunmen who are dispatching their own brand of permanent justice against the terrorist group (and/or coalition forces) or flee the growing animosity his own ISIS members have towards him who swore allegiance to al-Zawahiri.  At any rate, it’s not a good time to be Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi, for the walls are closing in and it’s only a matter of time before he’s found and possibly given a summary execution.
