This Video Explains The Differences Between Navy and Air Force Fighter Jets
The U.S. Navy and the U.S. Air Force are the two main branches for which fighter jets are built. Other services such as the U.S. Marine Corps also purchases fighter jets, but those are mainly built on naval fighter jets specifications. Keeping in mind that the U.S. Navy deploys on water, while the U.S. Air Force does it from air bases firmly on ground, it begs the question, is there any difference between their fighter jets?
This video answers this question succinctly, from a broad perspective based on physics and the particularities of each service. It’s one of those things nobody thinks about, but that makes a great difference.
