Watch The World’s Largest Plane Touch Down In Australia For First Time
The world’s largest plane, The Antonov An-225 Mriya touched down at Perth Airport in Australia for the first time on Sunday.
The plane, which can weigh up to 600 tons was looked upon by thousands of spectators as it landed at Perth Airport. While empty, the plane weighs 175 tons.
In this instance, the plane was carrying a 117 ton generator from Prague to Perth Airport while stopping in parts of the Middle East and Asia to refuel. It’s last stop was Kuala Lumpur before it made the 4,047 kilometer journey to Perth.
