2,000 Former Sex Slaves For ISIS Form Group To Take Down ISIS

A group called “The Force of the Sun Ladies” is made up of more than 2,000 Yazidi women that were former sex slaves for ISIS. Their goal is to kill as many ISIS members that they can to prevent others from going through the same ordeal that they have gone through.

In 2014, ISIS members forced their way into the town of Sinjar, Iraq. The town is home to many Yazidi people. The group is made up of monotheistic and non-Muslim people.

Upon entering the town, the inhabitants were faced with the option to convert to Islam or to die. Hundreds of thousands fled the area to seek sanctuary in the nearby mountains.

Unfortunately, ISIS forces attacked the mountains over the course of the next two months. Young boys were forced to convert to Islam and women were turned into sex slaves. The Yazidis that did not give into ISIS were killed and tortured. To escape from ISIS, some people were committing suicide as opposed to having to deal with the atrocities that the ISIS forces would bring down on them. In an interview with FoxNews, Captain Khider of the Force of the Sun Ladies told them “Women were throwing their children from the mountains and then jumping themselves because it was a faster way to die.”

Women that were captured were forced to convert to Islam and then be forced into marriages where they were continually raped.

Today, the Force of the Sun Ladies has grown to over 2,000 strong and is helping Kurdish Peshmerga forces take back the city of Mosul. Many of the Yazidi women that escaped ISIS were in Mosul and have knowledge of the area and can provide valuable intel.

One of the problems that these women can face is the potential to face their sons or brothers in combat. ISIS has brainwashed and turned these boys into soldiers for ISIS.
